( Con-tee-goh )
It means 'with you' in Spanish.
A personal project.
A close & personal documentation of life with my other half.
Our worlds colliding while living worlds apart.
From Seattle, Washington to Seattle-Zapopan, Mexico.
( Do-Char-Say )
It means 'to shower' in Spanish.
I cherish these silent moments.
The moments I can just concentrate on the warmth transfering from our skin, our bodies collectively creating a balance and equilibrium between one another.
To miss each other.
I find it fascinating that as humans we can bond so closely to another that they become a part of us. In our minds, thoughts, fingers and in the corners of our necks. & when that moment comes to missing them, it feels like something is physically missing from yourself. Like running out of the house & suddenly realizing you’re missing your left shoe. An uncomfortable imbalance that causes you to stumble. Or when you’ve forgotten your phone at home & that instant disappointment in the split second you go to reach for it and are reminded it isn’t there.
Until we can retrieve that left shoe - there feels like an unavoidable and uncomfortable void. I am missing my left shoe.
Last night we found old Facebook messages dated back to 2009. I even told you back then that you were my best friend and how much I cared about you. I never believed in love like this until I met you.
Meaning 'to see or to watch'
With you I've witnessed the most incredible skies. We've watched the moonrise over the Pacific and we've seen breathtaking sunsets in the jungles of Mexico. You always take time to appreciate the sky as it change, a phenomenal display by mother nature every night.
Happily wearing my HappySocks with my perfect match.
